Butch, I am getting myself up to speed on this site and now see you have posted lots of articles/information which I plan to read all. I must share with you that I do not share your belief in a rapture. I am aware that Mary/Margaret? MacDonald was the originater of this doctrine that is now taught in many churches. I believe the first one taken is taken by satan in his deception/role as antichrist at the 6th trump/vial/seal (666); taken in the sense that they are tricked into believing that satan is the real Christ. Our Lord and Saviour, the true Jesus Christ doesn't return until the 7th trump/vial/seal (777). I believe we (Christians) are to stand strong against the fiery darts of satan with the full gospel armour on by allowing the Holy Spirit to speak through us when we are delivered up before satan's synagogue pretending to be who he isn't.

I've looked for rapture in God's written word and have yet to locate it...if you have located rapture in God's word please share where it is with me? I am familiar with all the scriptures you posted.

I believe the rapture to be false doctrine and it will be used by satan to trick many of God's children into worshipping him thinking that he is the real deal when he is just a fake while promising he's come to fly them out of here which goes against what God's word as it is written instructs. Ez 13:18-19 speaks against those who teaches his children to fly to save their souls. This is why many of us will be betrayed by family, thinking they are helping us by having us delivered up to death (satan), they don't know any better because they truly believe he is the true Christ. This is where God's Holy Spirt takes over...we aren't even to premeditate what we will say for it is not us who speak but the Holy Spirit speaking through us...we're going to help put satan under Christ's feet and I for one am looking forward to this. Heaven is whereever God is and He's coming here (earth) so no need for us to rapture...fly anywhere. This is what I believe is true and I stand strong on God's word as it is written.

Many of those who are deceived by satan will be taught the real truth in the Millennium (Lord's Day)...one day with the Lord is as a Thousand years with man. God's will be done always.

Please know it is not my desire to offend you are anyone who believes in the rapture, it is only my desire to share why I do not.

Thanks for your post "why God made you". It was fantastic. I'm sorry so many responders to your post were negative. It hurts to see how foolishly blind they are. If only they could see just the tiniest bit of what you were writing about. Keep up the good work and God bless you and your efforts!
